The transaction includes the master franchise of Ergovis\u00e3o and Unioticas as well as Ergovis\u00e3o\u2019s procurement business of optical products.<\/p>\n<p>In a strategic move aimed at market consolidation, the CECOP Group and Ergovis\u00e3o have formalised an alliance to enhance the standing of independent opticians across Portugal. The primary objective is to position the Portuguese company as a key player, leveraging a combination of expertise and resources.<\/p>\n<p>This collaboration solidifies the collective strength of the CECOP Group, Ergovis\u00e3o, and Uni\u00f3ticas, establishing them as the largest optical group in Portugal. The strategic focus is to optimise the market positioning of the three brands.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Em\u00eddio Rodrigues<\/strong>, CEO of Ergovis\u00e3o, notes:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur alliance is grounded in the strategic alignment of our business models and a commitment to independence. Capitalising on CECOP\u2019s international reach, Ergovis\u00e3o aims to enhance its business model and expand its offerings. Our opticians\u2019 network stands to benefit from global collective intelligence, enabling us to provide enhanced services, support, and commercial conditions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>David Carvalho<\/strong>, Country Manager at CECOP Portugal, states:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis alliance, following our recent entry into the English market, represents a significant step in unlocking our full potential in Portugal.
